Many of you know Anna DeGloria from the tasting room but did you also know that she is a super knowledgeable plant-enthusiast and Wild Seed Project volunteer. This Saturday from Noon to 2pm she will be leading a workshop about native plants of Maine and how to prepare seed bombs for your garden or for a friend as a eco-friendly gift just in time for the holidays!
Small balls of clay, compost and seeds are a fun and easy way to disperse the seed of some of Maine’ s native plants. In this afternoon workshop you will make seed bombs with wildflowers for sunny, shady and wet habitats. Learn which wildflower species are likely to be successful with this kind of guerrilla planting and go home with some seed bombs of these beautiful native plants that support pollinators, birds, and other wildlife.
Come enjoy a farmhouse brew and make some seed bombs with us!
